Composites do require regular care because they discolour easily and must be polished. Visit your dentist and hygienist every six months to ensure that your smile is as clean and fresh as possible.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of coloured-like teeth porcelain that are glued to the front surfaces of natural teeth to change the colour and shape of the teeth.

Advantages of Porcelain Veneers

Closes gaps and straightens teeth

Because veneers are affixed to the front of your teeth, they may cover minor orthodontic abnormalities such as gaps and crooked teeth.

Your natural teeth will not move, but they will be concealed so that they appear straight to the outside!

However, veneers are not always a suitable solution for crooked teeth or gaps, so your dentist may recommend orthodontic treatment, such as Invisalign, to straighten your natural teeth instead.

Stain-resistant

If you’re thinking about getting this treatment and enjoying tea, coffee, or red wine, you should know that porcelain veneers are stain-resistant. You should still care for them as you would your natural teeth, but because porcelain veneers are non-porous, they are more resistant to discolouration than both natural teeth and composite veneers.

Long-lasting
